Sophie Andersen

Sophie Andersen was born in the 82nd year of the Age of Illumination and belonged to the 82 second generation of darmians.

She had a passionate view of life and she struggled hard to keep her family together. Her mother and father had had a warm relation up to the age of 56 but since that age they began to grow aloof and distant from each other. She found it hard to accept and for many years she struggled to maintain the family bonds she had grown accustomed to.

Alan introduced her to Haji after befriending her best friend Cathy. After becoming friends with Haji, she quickly became emotionally attached to him, and took pleasure in learning from his brilliant mind and sharing her thoughts with him.

Strong willed about her beliefs, she often clashed with Alan on divergence of opinions. She did not dislike him, but she disapproved of his actions, for she found his defiant nature to be upsetting and worried that his influence would lead Haji astray. Her wish was to live happily by Haji’s side for the rest of their days, leaving many children behind. Despite her submission to Darmian Directives she never felt right about darmians being forced to cast aside love in order to fulfill their purposes.
